Pali in lamiera d'acciaio rivestiti in PVC: Pionieri della bioedilizia

Plastic-steel sheet piles are a new type of support material manufactured through high-temperature, high-pressure molding using eco-friendly polymer composite materials. Thanks to their core advantages—including lightweight yet high strength, environmental friendliness, ease of installation, and corrosion resistance—they are gradually replacing traditional steel sheet piles and concrete piles, becoming the preferred solution in water conservancy, municipal, and transportation engineering projects.

Plastic steel sheet piles are notably eco-friendly, containing no harmful substances such as lead or plasticizers. They cause no pollution to soil or water bodies, are produced through low-carbon and energy-efficient processes, and are recyclable. Their built-in ecological openings allow for the cultivation of aquatic plants and provide habitats for fish and shrimp, aiding in ecological restoration and aligning with the national strategy of “replacing steel with plastic for green development.” Additionally, they are resistant to acids and alkalis, age-resistant, and rust-free, with a service life of over 50 years and virtually no maintenance required. Their total construction cost is only two-thirds that of traditional concrete structures, offering significant economic benefits.

Currently, plastic-steel sheet piles are widely used in applications such as riverbank protection, seawall reinforcement, excavation shoring, temporary cofferdams, and road slope stabilization. They have been successfully implemented in the Wuzhen Scenic Area and various water conservancy projects across the country, injecting green momentum into engineering construction with their safe, reliable, and eco-friendly characteristics.
