En cuanto a los materiales, su n\u00facleo utiliza PVC modificado de alta resistencia o materiales compuestos de PVC con estructuras moleculares estables. Estructuralmente, presentan secciones transversales de tipo CT y Z de alto momento de inercia combinadas con uniones machihembradas de precisi\u00f3n. Cuando se ensamblan, forman paredes impermeables continuas y sin juntas que resisten eficazmente las presiones laterales de fuertes olas y vientos, a la vez que bloquean las v\u00edas de filtraci\u00f3n de agua de mar. De este modo se evitan riesgos potenciales como la formaci\u00f3n de tuber\u00edas y la socavaci\u00f3n en los cimientos del dique, garantizando la estabilidad estructural general.<\/p>\n<p>El respeto por el medio ambiente es una de las principales caracter\u00edsticas que distinguen a las tablestacas de acero plastificado de los materiales tradicionales de defensa costera, en consonancia con los principios contempor\u00e1neos de construcci\u00f3n de \u201cdiques ecol\u00f3gicos\u201d.
